Greenply Absolute Calibrated Plywood is precision-made using Greenply's Quadra Pro Technology. Both faces of every sheet are calibrated to a uniform 16 mm within ±0.5% tolerance, preventing the laminate bubbling, uneven CNC routing and joint mismatches common with uncalibrated plywood. It is made only in 16 mm, specifically for modular cabinet work.

Choose the grade for each location: Absolute BWP (IS:710 Marine Grade, E0) for kitchens, under-sink units and bathroom vanities, or Absolute MR 303 (IS:303, E1) for wardrobes, study furniture and wall panelling in dry areas. Both are treated against borers, fungus and termites, and carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

1) Which grade should I use for a modular kitchen?

Use BWP for base cabinets, under-sink units and anything near the hob or dishwasher. MR 303 works for overhead wall units away from steam and water. Mixing grades by location is the cost-effective approach.

2) What does "calibrated" mean, and why does it matter?

Calibrated plywood is ground on both faces to a precise, uniform thickness. Standard plywood can vary by 0.5 – 1.5 mm, which shows through thin laminates as bumps and causes uneven CNC routing. Calibration gives a flat, consistent surface for smooth laminates and flush hardware.

3) What is the difference between E0 and E1?

Both measure formaldehyde emission from the bonding resin. E1 (MR 303) is the accepted safe standard for homes and offices. E0 (BWP) means near-zero emission, the safest option for closed kitchen cabinets and wardrobes.
