1) Can this bulkhead light handle direct rainfall outdoors?
Yes. This fixture carries a certified IP65 ingress protection rating, meaning it is completely dust-tight and completely protected against direct water jets or heavy rainfall from any direction without taking on moisture damage.
2) Do I need to cut a hole into the brickwork or ceiling to install the VIVA bulkhead?
No. This is a surface-mounted exterior light fixture. It screws directly flat onto concrete walls, pillars, structural ceilings, or standard outdoor wiring junction boxes without any layout cutouts required.
3) Is the plastic casing fragile or prone to breaking over time?
Not at all. It is manufactured from a high-impact Polycarbonate Housing, which is a specialized structural engineering polymer built to survive heavy impacts, knocks, and temperature swings far better than standard indoor acrylic panels.
4) Does this product include everything needed to connect to my AC mains wire?
Yes, the unit comes completely self-contained with its internal electrical power driver integrated inside the back shell casing, allowing clean, straightforward connection directly to your AC 110-240V circuit.
5) Which wattage should I choose for my application?
Choose the 10W variant for smaller entryways, house number lighting, or compact utility spaces. Choose the 20W variant for larger perimeters, garages, parking bays, or areas needing brighter security-grade illumination.
